The week that we were all in Washington we did a lot of fun things.

We all made gingerbread houses. It was a lot of fun.

Grandma and Grandpa got the kids the cutest outfits and we all went to Maggiano's (YUM)

We also went and got Family pictures. It was way past due. The last ones we have Tessa is only a couple months old.

After we got home we still had one more Christmas, with my parents.

We have such an amazing family. Love you all! xo

It's a little late..I know. But I don't get the chance to blog very often. :)

We spent this Christmas in Washington. Tessa had so much fun with her cousins, McKenna and River.

This year Grandma had a Christmas "Week" Where the Grand kids each got one gift every night of the week leading up to Christmas. They Got Disney dolls with matching PJ's, Fun suckers with silly faces, just to name a couple. The kids thought it was so much fun, and I thought I should of brought a bigger suitcase to take it all home. :)

After Presents and breakfast we went to Grandma & Grandpa Hanks House to visit with Family and have Lunch. Oh ya, and Ice Cream.

Last few days in Washington

Washington has been a blast! It's always nice to visit with Family, and Friends. Even though I know we will be back in a few weeks for Christmas I'm still sad to leave.

During the last few days we did a a lot of fun things.

Tessa stayed with Grandma and Grandpa for the weekend and Kyle and I went to my favorite place...Harstine Island. As much as I miss Tessa when we are gone, its always nice to get away.

Back in Washington

We are spending the next couple weeks in Washington visiting family and hanging out. Today we went to Saltars Point and Sunnyside beach.

This year was a lot different than last year. Tessa could actually help with the pumpkins and go "Trick-or-treating" She had a blast.

Kyle had the day off so we decided to take Tes to the Zoo. Boy did she had a blast. It was alot different than last year. Last year she wanted to stay in the stroller and relax and sleep. This time she was miss independent. She didnt want anything to do with us or her stroller. She thought the animals were great! I have been working with her alot with all the animal sounds so it was cute when she made monkey noises when she saw monkies. But everything else she barked at. Super cute.

Tessa loves parks! She isn't quite sure of the swings..(some days she loves them and some days its the total opposite)but she loves slides, the kids, and everything else.
She has no fear.

We are lucky to have so many parks in the area. now..just got to wait for nicer weather!

It rains ALOT in Washington. And the last couple times we have been here its been rainy and pretty chilly outside. Today was beautiful! Tessa loved getting out and playing on the grass.

Point Defiance Zoo

We spent the day at the Zoo! Its so fun to see Tessa's face when she sees all the animals and fish. This zoo is so beautiful!

A Very Special Valentines!

So, a couple weeks ago Kyle's parents asked us to come up to Washington to house sit and babysit dogs while they went out of town for a few days. On Feb 13th, they babysat Tessa while Kyle and I spent the night in Seattle. We had a nice hotel room that over looked Lake Union.

We got to watch sea planes take off and land all day.

After we checked in to our hotel and got ready for the night we went to the most amazing sea food resturaunt called Salty's. We stuffed our faces with crab and salmon stuffed with crab. holy smokes...it was GOOOOD!

The next day we went on a 2 hour bout tour of Seattle. It was so interesting. I have WAY to many pictures to post..but here are a few highlights of the tour.

This home is a FLOATING home! It has nothing under it but water. There was about 300 homes out there this way. This was one of the biggest ones out there. It was worth about 6.8 million! plus you had to pay for the water the house is on which is $600,000! Kinda crazy!

Those that know me well know that I am TERRIFIED of bridges! We had to go under like 8 of them! Some of them were pretty cool looking though, and some were just plain big and scary!

Even though I missed my Tessa like crazy, it was nice to spend valentines day with my best friend. Love you Kyle!

We watched movies and ate junk food all night! :)

Today we decided to spend the day in Seattle. When we left it was a beautiful day, so sunny and nice.. First stop was Pikes Place. It was was cool. Lots of different things to see. ALOT of people. and ALOT of fish!

Then we went to Seattle Aquarium. What a neat place. There were all kinds of Sea life. I was soo amazed.

Going to Washington is always a fun time! Packing was a little different than past times....Tessa got her OWN suitcase, and Kyle and I had to share one.

She was such a big girl at the airport.

She LOVES flying!

Grandma and Grandpa have 3 dogs, and Tessa is in love with them. Mua is about 4 months old, and Lilly is his mommy.Tessa chases them around all day! and they chase her around as well.

Lazy girl! She laid down on Grandma and Grandpa's bed and was OUT with in 2 minutes. She looked SO cozy!

We found out that Tessa LOVES rice. She ate so much. Boy did she get messy!

Halloween was great! We took our little unicorn out and went visiting our family and friends. We had so many places to go, by the time we did get home it was so late none of the kids were out. So on top of the candy Tessa got...we had 3 non opened bags at home.

Hee Haw Farms

Back in Oct. we all went to Hee Haw Farms. It was pretty cool. They had a petting zoo, corn maze, a little haunted house for kids (that I got lost in) , and a fun hay ride. We all had a great time. It was my first time going to a corn maze, and holy crap....we were soooo lost...we eventually just made our own path to the exit. :)

We all went to WA for Chris and Staci's wedding. It was so much fun and was beautiful! We only stayed a couple days. we all hope next time we can stay longer. The little outfits Grandma bought the girls were so cute!

So as most of you know me and Kyle are BIG football fans... Kyle likes the Seahawlks and I like the Eagles. so since Tessa cant pick a team yet she cheers for the "Seagles" :) so we dressed her up with a homemade onesie saying "eagles cutest fan" and then put some Seahawlks head and wrist bands on.

We went to the zoo as a family. It was so fun. I have not been since about 5th grade. It has changed alot. It was fun to see the baby Elephant and the baby Giraffe. Super cute! Tessa had a fun time.

Going to Payson Lake

The past few weeks the three of us have been going up to Payson Lake. Its so pretty up there, and its not that far of a drive so we go often. Kyle loves it because there is water he can swim in. And I love it because I can just hang out with Tessa in the shade. Tessa LOVES being outside. There are a ton of ducks. Mom and babies and Tessa will watch them swim, or come up close when we feed them.

The past 3 months

The past 3 months have been fun! Tessa has reached so many milestones. She is Rolling over, Giggling, Eating baby food, and she has found her voice and she isn't afraid to use it. I still cant believe how time is flying. The other day I was looking at her little Preemie outfits (that were to big at the time) that she wore the first few weeks, and looking at the close she is wearing now. One in particular outfit I got when she was just a few days old, saying "that is HUGE" Tessa wont fit into that for a LONG TIME!" and guess what....its to small for her now. Tessa is so much fun. I am blessed to be able to stay at home with her, and not haveing to work right now. I thank Kyle every day for working so hard to make this possible.

The three of us all went back to Washington in May. Tessa got to fly on a airplane for the first time, I was so amazed about how well she did. I heard all the scary stories about babies and airplanes. I was very nervous but Tessa did it like a champ!

When we go to Washington its always a great time. We love spending time with the family, Tessa had a blast! She got to meet her great Grandma and Grandpa and her Uncle Chris for the first time. And the whole time we were there I don't think there was a moment she wasn't being held and snuggled.

Going back to Harstine Island

So we decided to take a small break and head to Harstine Island for a night. We had a great time. Even though I cried every 20 seconds because I missed our Tessa so much! It was nice to get out.
Harstine Island is the most peacefull place ever. Lots of trees, lots of water, and lots of wild life!

Tessa's First weeks home

Having Tessa home has been amazing. How the time flies! Week by week we see her grow. It seems like yesterday we were bringing her home.
Her first week home is when Kyle and I learned the most. Not only did we have a newborn, we had a almost one month early, very tiny newborn.

Tessa's first Easter

So Jen and I were able to celebrate Easter this year with Tessa. It was so much fun being on the other side of everything this year, die eggs, get Easter basket, etc. Jen and I loved finally being able to take these types of roles and are excited about starting our own traditions. Tessa was very spoiled this year both grandparents got her bunny that was about the same

size of her and then Jen and I got Tessa a huge pink bunny. She finally fit into newborn clothes and that made Jen very happy so we put her in the cutest dress and shoes. We went to her grandma and grandpa morgans house to cellabrate Easter where Tessa attended her first egg hunt. It all was really fun to be able to spend Easter for the first time as a family.

So Tessa decided to come a little earlier than we expected. She was born March 12 2009 at 8:31 AM. Jen and I were at hollywood video renting a movie when right as we checked out Jen turns to me and said Kyle we have a problem I think my water just broke. So we rushed home and got almost everything for the hospital and left. We got to the hospital around 9 PM on March 11 and had to wait almost tweleve hours for Tessa but Jen and I both would have waited alot longer for our little angel.

When we finally decided to get our spare room in our house ready for our daughter Tessa's Grandpa Thatcher flew down from Washington to help Kyle out. Tessa's uncle Jade also came over to help us out because Grandpa Thatcher was only going to be down for two days and Jen wanted it done right away. So setting up her nursery was fun but very fast and crazy.

Jen and I went up to Washington for Christmas/wedding reception. After Christmas and the reception Jen and I took off to Harstene Island where our family has a cabin for our honeymoon. The weather was regular for Washington wet and cold but we got some sunshine. Jen loved Harstene alot she says everytime we go back to Washington we have to go to Harstene too.
